My life has been quite an outside the box experience, of small traumas, big traumas and overcoming a lot of adversity at a very early age. This has all lead me to the kind of chiropractic practitioner I am today. My biggest focus and goal when helping anyone is their empowerment. Helping establish loving, confident connection with themselves and what their body is telling them is of the utmost importance. I’ve learned over the years, the more you know and understand about yourself, the easier it is to heal.
And I know from personal experience that healing can be a journey! It can be a gentle slog through a boggy brush, and it can be pushing a boulder up a steep incline hoping not to be trampled when you slip. Healing is a windy fluctuating path that is different for everyone because we have all lived beautifully diverse and unique lives – upbringing, culture, beliefs, life experiences… all play pivotal parts to how and why your body is expressing the way it is.
I endeavor to hold space for whatever shows up for you on your healing journey. I care about your mental, emotional and physical health because they all impact how your nervous system functions. And from my experience, as your body heals itself, there are usually mental, emotional and physical changes and releases that can happen.
This is also why I love to work alongside other practitioners. Sometimes you need a counsellor, a massage therapist, a doctor or naturopath, an acupuncturist – everyone’s healing journey is just as unique as the life that led them to where they are now. Whether it is a minor ache, an emotional heart break, an injury, or years of accumulated stress or trauma now manifesting as a chronic health condition or pain: I will be here to help you move through it so long as you feel ready to do so.
